Recommended Axle Riser Kit for 2008 Coachmen Chaparral
Question:
I have a 2008 coachmen chaparral light. I need to raise it approximately 3 in. The spring with measurement is 1-3/4 . What are my options I was thinking of a block to go between the spring and the axle seat with longer u bolts .

Your best option, if your leaf springs are currently mounted under the axles, you can move them to the top of the axle and therefore gain the equivalent of the axle diameter in ride height. If you have 5,200 lb. axles you will have a 3" diameter axle. I recommend the Dexter Over-Under Axle Conversion kit, # K71-385-00.
We also have an option in the the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit for tandem axle, # RR23QX that adjusts in 1/4" increments from 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". Once you have increased the wheel clearance you can install taller tires if more distance is still desired.
