Can I Use Thule Hullavator 897 On Yakima OverHaul Crossbars, Or Will I Need Thule Hullavator 898
Question:
Can I use the earlier version of this rack to attach to the Yakima Overhaul HD cross bars? The earlier model does not appear to attach in the same manner as the new one so Im wondering if an adapter might be needed.

You will need the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs - Side Loading, part # TH898, for the Yakima OverHaul with HD crossbars. If you have the Thule Hullavator 897, you will not be able to mount it on these crossbars. This version is only worked with Thule square crossbars and Yakima round crossbars.
