Clearance Needed to Install 7'1" Wide Solera RV Slide-Out Awning
Question:
I have a 2018 Montana 3810MS that we would like to put slide toppers on. The front slide has an awning on it mounted about where the slide toppers mount. How much room is required for the brackets between the T molding and the factory awning? Ive attached a pic.

While your photo did not come through, I can tell you that you will need a minimum of 7 inches of clearance from the edge of your slide box to fit the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 7'1" Wide # LCV000165062.
If you don't have that much clearance though, what you can do is order the next size down; while it won't give quite as much coverage to your slide, it will still offer plenty of protection for your slide from things like leaves and pooling water. For that you would want the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 6'7" Wide # LCV000168105.
