3,500LB Trailer Axle Self-Adjusting Electric Brakes and Hub For 13" Diameter Wheels
Question:
I am looking at your Item # AKEBRK-35-SA 10 electric brake kit. I will be installing these on a trailer to move a boat around, not much water contact. My axle is a 3500#, 13 wheel, with 2-7/8 welded brake plate. Can you help me with the hubs needed for this? Thank You

Expert Reply:
As long as your 3,500lb axle uses a #84 Spindle like # TRU74FR you will need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K to use with the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA. This hub uses a Grease Seal # 58846(inner diameter 1.719"), Inner Bearing # L68149(inner diameter 1.378") and Outer Bearing # L44649(inner diameter 1.063"). If your spindle has different measurements or parts used please let me know and I can confirm the correct hub.
A Digital Caliper # PTW80157 is the best way to get an accurate measurement for your spindle.
