Replacement 26 Inch Long Leaf Spring Recommendation for 4,400 lb Axles

Question:

I want to upgrade my 5th wheel springs. i have 4400 lb axles with 3 inch tube and my springs are sagged on the heavy side of the trailer. my gvwr is 10k and in my opinion 4400# axles are underdedsigned. my eye to eye is 26 inch and i would like to increase spring capacity to 2500 -2600 lb capacity i also could use a little extra height. this is why i am asking about six leaf. can you hook me up?

The best leaf spring option we have for your application is the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles - 26" Long # e27SR. Everything else is either rated too high/low or doesn't have the leaf spring stack size you're looking for.

This is probably a good thing anyways because you don't want your springs to be too stiff and cause your trailer to bounce around. If you're having issues with your 5th wheel leaning to one side or the other I recommend adding the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs to your application which help support and stabilize your trailer. You'll use part # TSS-106-40 if the axle sits above the leaf springs or the part # TSS-107-40 is the axle is below the leaf springs.

Attached are some videos for you to review. Please note whatever you do to 1 side of your axle needs to be done to the other side as well to help with ride consistency.
