This rack is a great choice if you have fenderless bikes due to the wheel mount attachment style. Also, with the wheel mount, you do not have to worry about a bike frame adapter bar for women's bikes, children's bikes, or bikes with step-thru frames that is required if you have a frame-mount attachment style. It also has a per-bike maximum weight capacity of 60 pounds.
The ramp that is designed to go with the rack is the Access Ramp for Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # ANVBRB. The width of the ramp is right at 4-1/4 inches wide and is perfect for your fat-tire bike. This ramp is only compatible with Kuat NV 2.0 models.
