Can Bargman Trailer Taillight # 30-92-004 be Used in Place of 30-92-003

Question:

Hi, my trailer tail light works fine but the license plate tab on the tail light mounting plate broke. I think my tail light setup is the 30-92-003 but since I only need the mounting plate with the license plate tabs, would the much less expensive 30-92-004 kit work if I just want only the mounting plate with license plate tabs?

Yes you could use the part # 30-92-004 in place of the # 30-92-003 like you are wanting to do. You should note that the reverse light function will be missing as the 004 does not have that portion of the light active. The frames between the two are the exact same though.
