In order to determine whether you need the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 (2-3/8") or # K71-385-00 (3") you will need to measure the diameter of your axle. If you get 2-3/8" then you need # K71-384-00 and if you get 3" then you need # K71-385-00.
As far as tires/rims are concerned you will want to ensure you have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern (which is the most common 4 bolt pattern) I have included a link to an article that can help you with determining this. You mentioned not being able to go wider than the 5.8" width your current 5.70 x 8 tires have. I have listed a couple options below that are taller tires but are not wider.
The Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30790 would be 5.6" wide
The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" White Spoke Wheel # AM35351DX would be 5.7" wide
You would also want to ensure that you have a high enough weight rating and height available for the taller tires. The height will be easier to determine once you flip the axle and see how much height you gain. We currently do not have any 10" tires that are narrow enough for your wheel wells.
