2005 Honda CR-V Swing Away Bike Rack Recommendation
Question:
Im looking for a swing away two bike rack that will work on a 2005 Honda CRV. They have the spare tire on the back door. Do you have any suggestions?

I really like the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B because it is extremely easy to use and install. I've messed with some of the other swing-away bases and this one by far is my favorite.
Then for a bike rack you can't go wrong with the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR. This rack has a unique U-Shaped frame that makes it easier to load/unload bikes when compared to the standard platform bike rack. The Transfer V2 also features the foot pedal for tilting/folding your rack which is much better than the vast majority of pull pins on the market.
Attaches is a review video of the Transfer V2 for you to check out. I'm also adding a video I did of the Kuat Pivot 2 on a RAV4 with the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G so you can see my thoughts on the setup. In the video I mention potentially using the Driver's Side version # PVD20B for a rear door with a spare tire but that extra 120 degree movement will be enough to clear the spare so the Passenger's Side version is better (and safer) for pretty much any application.
