Will the Swagman Quad Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Honda Pilot

Hi my Question is how much clearence will I have on my 2011 Honda pilot ex with the rack in the up position. and also in the down position from bike to car distance .

Expert Reply:
In order to determine how much clearance there will be with the Swagman Quad bike rack, # S64FR, installed you will need to take one important measurement. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper.
If that distance is less than 9 inches then the rack will clear the back of your 2011 Honda Pilot. Below are other important measurements:
Distance from center of hitch pin hole to:
Closest wheel tray: 17-1/4 inches
Closest upright mast: 23 inches
Rack body when folded down: 9-1/4 inches
Rack body when folded up: 9 inches
When the rack is down, a lot depends on the width of the bike that is in the position nearest the vehicle. If you take 17-1/4 inches (the distance from the hitch pin hole to the closest wheel tray) and then subtract half the width of the bike that would give you some idea of where the closest part of the bike will be when loaded.
