Will the Thule Force XT Cargo Box Fit a 2010 Toyota 4Runner without Hatch Interference
Question:
One of the questions etrailer answered was that the Force XT will fit the 2013 Rav4 with factory rails and it does not hinder the lift gate. I am unable to see nor confirm w/ the Thule fit guide that the XT will fit the 5th gen 4runners without affecting the liftgate operations. Please advise whether the Force XT fits the 5th gen 4runner and whether it gets in the way of the liftgate.

I checked with Thule and on a 2010 Toyota 4Runner there will be interference with the rear lift gate if you were to use Thule Force XT cargo box # TH6358B. The largest box that you can use without rear hatch interference is the medium box # TH6356B.
Going with the smaller box will be the way to go.
