If you are talking about the connection point for a brake controller then you can find the factory connection underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.

If you are talking about adding a 7-Way, the factory connection point for a 7-Way trailer connector on a 2005 Dodge Durango is located behind the rear bumper or along the driver side frame rail on the drivers side of the vehicle. There will be a rectangular plug. You will most likely have to clean it out first and then install a replacement 7-Way, # 20135.

If your Durango did not come with a factory installed 7-Way to start with, you will need to first install a 4-Way using # 118390 and then install # ETBC7. I have included some links that will help with these installations.

For a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885, because of its reliability and ease of use. If your Durango did originally come with the factory 7-Way you will also need harness # 3020-P. If you have to use the ETBC7 then you will not use this harness and will follow the ETBC7 hardwire instructions.
