Upgraded Tires for a Harbor Freight trailer
Question:
Hello! I have a Harbor Freight trailer. I want to upgrade the tires since we will be driving over 2000 miles on our family vacation. We will have about 300# on the trailer. But I want something that can handle higher than 65mph. I was looking at Kenda AM30780 and Taskmaster TTWAA12WS. Which are better? Or do you suggest something else? I have. 12” 4 on 4 right now. Thanks.

For your Harbor Freight trailer I recommend going with the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C item # AM30620. This tire is a load range C so you will have no problem hauling your trailer with 300 lbs across the country.
You will want to check with your trailers owner's manual to ensure that you trailer is capable of handling higher speeds than your original tires were rated for.
