4-Way and 7-Way Wiring Harnesses For a 2022 Ford Transit Connect
Question:
Could you all recommend what kind of wiring kit I need for trailer lights on a 2022 Ford transit connect? Also do you all have any videos that show you how to install them like you do some of your trailer hitches? Thank you

For your 2022 Ford Transit Connect we have the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118613. This harness will give you a 4-way flat connector that most small trailers use for the lights on the trailer. I have linked an installation video below for this harness on a 2020 Transit. A mounting bracket # 18144 can be used to attach the 4-way connector to the mounting tab on a Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75852.
If you have a larger trailer that has a 7-way connector you will need to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to your Transit. This will connect to the above 4-way harness and provide you the wiring needed for the charge line and brake controller on your Transit. While we do not have a install video for a Transit Connect, I have linked one for a Transit T250 below. The video includes the installation of a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885.
