2016 Ford F-150 Roof Rack Recommendation to Fit With Yakima LockNLoad Platform

Question:

I really like the fact that the backbone would keep the locknload tighter to my rooftop. Using landing pads crossbars etc. just give it a look that I’m trying to stay away from. I want to reduce the gap between the platform and my roof. So my question is is there a rhino rack backbone that is specifically designed or will contour or something close to my 2016 F150 super crew roof? Thanks

I have a great solution for you, but at this time (March 2022) Rhino-Rack doesn't make a Backbone system for pickups so we'll have to go a different route on your 2016 Ford F-150.

For your application I recommend using the Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # RR29XR because it has more of that sporty, low-profile look, and then using the 60x54 Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars # Y05045-39 which clamps to the crossbars.
