Do Spring Bars of Fastway FA92-00-0800 Weight Distribution Need to be Removed to Back Up Vehicle
Question:
Do I have to remove the trunk on bars on this hitch before backing up in reverse? Thanks for any help

If you're backing the vehicle at a tight enough angle that the trailer could possibly jackknife, it's recommended that the spring bars be removed. When you're backing a trailer at a sharp angle, it's easy to jackknife the trailer-and the shorter the trailer, the quicker it'll happen.
