Bike Rack For e-bike With Fenders, 2" Receiver Hitch

Question:

Single bike rack for 2 inch receiver. Have a Electra Townie Go 8i step thru that has nice fenders. are there racks that secure at the base of the front tire rather than over the top of the wheel? This bike weighs 54 lbs without the battery. Thanks for your assistance..

We have a great option for but it is not a single bike, bike rack as we do not have one that meets your needs of a bike with fenders. For your step-thru eBike with fenders, I recommend the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes, # Y36FR. This has a weight capacity of 66 lbs. per bike with adjustable frame clamps and bike trays that fit a variety of bike frame styles. The padded clamps with ratcheting straps hold bikes securely by the frame or seat post and the cradles slide up and down and rotate to make a proper fitment for any bike.
