I did some research on your 2019 Toyota RAV4 and I think the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms, part # Y02634, might be a better option for your 2019 Toyota RAV4. Yakima's fit notes instruct you to install the bottom hooks in anchor mode. In anchor mode the strap to the bottom hook is looped through an opening in the hook, then the hook is inserted IN the open hatch, the hatch is closed, and the straps are pulled taut. In anchor mode, the hooks are pulled tight against the inside of the hatch. They are not hooked on the bottom of the hatch. This is done because the bottom hooks are not big enough.
