The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400 will work with all models of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee (including the Trailhawk) by using the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751471.

The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400 also includes the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.

You can attach the Brake Lite Relay part #RM-88400 to the stoplight switch at the pedal like you mentioned.

I did some checking and replacement break away switch #RM-650898 is the correct one for your BrakeMaster system. It actually fits several Roadmaster supplemental braking systems including all of the BrakeMaster versions out there.
