Will the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Fit a Smart fortwo
Question:
Your site states this system is a confirmed fit for my 2017 Smart Fortwo. However, when I contacted Roadmaster directly they told me it will not work on my car. I assume the manufacturer is correct?

I spoke with Roadmaster and confirmed the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 is not a fit for a Smart fortwo due to limited mounting locations. Instead, I recommend the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 for hydraulic brakes or the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99243 for air brakes. They will also require the Brake Pedal Adapter part # SM99602. The main unit for either of these systems mounts in the engine bay which is there more space therefore there will be no issues. This is the preferred system among our staff due to both ease of install and reliability.
