Replacement Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Atwood 61101

Question:

Hello - I have an Atwood 61101 that needs replacing. I was told Demco DM72VR is a good replacement. The Atwood has a Manuel lockout lever, does the Demco part have this? If not do I really need this feature? Thank You

Assuming you have drum brakes, the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs # DM72VR will work well as a replacement for your Atwood 61101. If you have disc brakes, I recommend the Dexter # 099-175-20 which comes with an electric lockout.

The reverse lockout feature is what allows you to back up. Without the reverse lockout, the brakes will be applied in reverse unless you have free backing brakes. You can, however, add the reverse lockout using the Replacement Solenoid Valve # T4748800.

I have attached some review videos for your reference.
