Parts Needed To Flat Tow 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Aftermarket Bumper and Diesel Motorhome  

Question:

I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and 2021 Newmar Ventana motor home with built in air connection for Air Force 1 breaking. The Jeep has an after market front bumper and LED tail lights.. I need Air Force 1, tow bar, base plate and lighting harness. Can you give me suggestions for the complete setup? I’m comfortable with installing myself.

In order to flat-tow a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you'll indeed need a tow bar, base plate kit, tail light wiring, braking system, and safety cables. In regards to the base plate kit, these are designed for the factory bumpers and in which case you would use the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521453-5. If you have an aftermarket bumper then you will want to use d-rings (if equipped), the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars part # RM-035-1 or part # RM-035. These are all then compatible with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676. You'll want the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154 to complete the wiring.

For a braking system, the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99243 or part # SM99209 and part # SM6296 if the motorhome is pre-plumbed is what I recommend.
