I have a 2017 e450 cutaway carrying a thor rv. ClassC 30d motorhome It appears the rear springs are maxed out or close to it. Adding helper springs good for original springs?

Yes, when you order the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs #SSR-107-47 you get a pair of the springs. There will be one for either side on the rear axle.
