15,000 Btu Air Conditioner Recommendation for Enclosed Trailer

Question:

Hi, im looking at adding an air-conditioner to my 22 foot enclosed. It has 3 roof vents in it already. Id like to add one in the middle vent since we are now using it as our makeshift camper. I need a 15,000 BTU with heat. Black in color. What do you suggest?

The perfect solution for you is the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip - 15,000 Btu # ACM150BCH. The white air distribution box installs on the inside (it doesn't come in black) so nobody will see that part, the start capacitor stores some power to reduce the strain of the AC unit upon startup, and the heat strip gives you heat when it's cold outside.

The 15,000 Btu rating might be a little much for your 22' enclosed trailer but worst case scenario you'll just be using the lower settings. At least by going this route you'll have more than enough cooling/heating power.

If you have the standard 14" x 14" vents this will fit right in that place and you shouldn't have to adjust the size of the cutout.
