Recommended A/C Unit w/ a Heat Strip for an Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I am looking for an air conditioner with a heat strip for a 24 cargo trailer. The roof is going to be insulated and have a ceiling on it but I see some of your AC units say not intended for enclosed trailers. Can you point me in the right direction on what to buy? Need atleast 15k BTU. Thanks

I would be happy to. I recommend The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip - 15,000 Btu item # ACM150CH for white or item # ACM150BCH for black.
You're going to need a 14-1/4” x 14-1/4” opening and the roof will need to be reinforced to 3.5" - 6" thick and able to hold up to 100 lbs. You'll also need a 115V AC power supply to properly run the unit and 12V DC to power the air distribution box/thermostat.
