Can The In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger Be Used To Charge Two Batteries

Will the Redarc BCDC charger work in my vehicle which is a 2019 Chevy 2500hd pickup. It has two batteries with a single 150 amp alternator and a duramax diesel. Redarc item # is BCDC1240D. Will this charger be to much for my alternator? My battery bank is 4 155 amp hour VMax batteries.

Yes, the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D is designed to be specifically used with an alternator or smart alternator.

The battery charger will not necessarily put stress on your alternator, but rather optimizes the charge generated during driving in order to provide you with more battery power and capacity when you need it.
