Air Bag Helper Springs That Are Compatible With The Curt Custom Fit 5TH Wheel Brackets 2012 F-350
Question:
I bought a curt 20k 5th wheel hitch And rails from you guys for my 2012 F350. Part numbers C16130 and C1642-204 I would like to apply air bags to the rear but it seems that the hitch rail brackets on the frame are in the way. Is there a kit that fits with those or do I need to modify something? Thanks!

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88395 will work with the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit # C16424-204 that you installed on your 2012 Ford F-350 when you added the Curt Q20 5th Wheel # C16130. The kits will share the same mounting hole that the 3/4" bolt from the Curt mounting brackets.
The Air Lift Upgrade Kit # AL52301 will allow you to change out the zinc coated steel roll plates and hardware for stainless steel as well as upgrade to stainless steel air lines over the nylon tubing.
I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ to control the air pressure in the air bags. This compressor allows you to adjust the air pressure from your smart phone rather than having to run air lines in your cab for a gauge style controller or have to worry about a wireless remote and the batteries to power it. The smart manifold also means that while you are driving the air pressure in the air bags is kept to within 3 psi. So you will not have to constantly check the air pressure while you drive or before you set off. This helps protect your air bags when not being used as it will maintain the minimum 5psi when not hauling.
