The metal part on the top of the Furrion Standard RV Microwave - 1,350 Watts - 0.9 Cu Ft - Black # FMSN09BL is a vent and must remain in place for the unit to operate properly.

The Furrion Solo RV Microwave #FMSN09BL does not have mounting holes for a trim kit. You would need to mount the trim kit to the cabinet/wall around the microwave.
