What 7-Way Harness and Brake Controller do You Recommend for My 2022 Hyundai Palisade?
Question:
what parts do I need to install a 7-way on my 2022 Hyundai palisade?

In order to install a 7-way on your 2022 Hyundai Palisade, you need to first have a 4-way harness installed. If you need a 4-way, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness # CU94FR.
Once the 4-way is installed, you then need to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. With this harness, you will hardwire it into your current wiring in order to set up your vehicle for a brake controller.
For the brake controller itself, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 or the Curt Echo # C51180. Both of these controllers are proportional controllers which means that the controller activates the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. The Voyager is more of a traditional-style controller than requires mounting into the dashboard of your vehicle near the steering wheel. If you decide to go with the Voyager, you need the additional plug-in wiring harness # 20127. On the other hand, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device.
