Will Adding Front And/Or Rear Suspension Enhancement Affect The Warranty On A 2022 Ram 2500?

Question:

I am getting a slide-in truck camper 1800 lbs and will be towing a boat with about 350 lb hitch weight. These weights are before any equipment is loaded. Will it be better to get both front and rear or will the rear suspension system work. Will I need sway bars? Also will this affect the Ram warranty? I have a 2022 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.5’ bed. I have attached a photo of the camper specs. Thank you for your assistance. 2022 Palomino BackPack SS-1251 Truck Camper Stock Status: In Stock Weight: Exterior: Slide-outs: 1.737 Ibs 14foot 10inch Lx 6foot Oinch H x 7 2inch W

Adding just rear suspension enhancement will definitely help, but if you will be keeping the camper in the bed of your 2022 Ram 2500 full time, it is a good idea to get the front supplemented as well.

With that said, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Front Axle # SSF-301-47 is rated up to 1,000 pounds of capacity, at 50% compression, and will help with sway and absorb bumps and shocks. To further this, you can also add the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM47VR. This will really level the front out and limit the side to side movement.

For the rear, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2706. These are rated up to 7,500 pounds of load carrying capacity at 150 psi, but are adjustable down to 5 psi so you can really get them set to where you need.

All these are American made products are pretty common upgrades and will not affect your truck's warranty.
