What Lug Nut Adapters are Needed for the Konig K45 Tire Chains on a Vehicle with 21-22mm Lug Nuts
Question:
We have the Konig K-45 tire chains that are specified for the Model S with 19 inch wheels. But the connectors are almost impossible to get on the lug nuts or to removewe are back home and one is stuck on right now.... The lug nuts are 21 or 22 mm. I suspect that the set of connectors that came with the K-45 are for smaller lug nuts. This is a 2013 Model S with 19 inch wheels. Should I be buying the larger replacement connectors? Also, does someone make a lug bolt that is threaded to accept the bolt from the tire chains. That would make a lot more sense than the connector.

The Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains K45 # th02230k45 come with lug nut adapters for 17 mm and 19 mm lug nuts. If you have 21 or 22 mm lug nuts then you would want to use the Lug Nut Adapter for Konig K-Summit Tire Chains # TH1500052581. I haven't heard of anyone having a bolt threaded specifically for the bolt of the tire chains, not a bad thought though.
