Parts for Using a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller in a 2008 GMC Acadia and 2003 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Would like to use the prodigy in my 2008 GMC Acadia and 2003 Chevy Silverado. I think I will need the 90185-3026p that includes the Acadia plug and a 3015p for the Silverado.I will also need a Replacement Pocket Bracket for Prodigy Brake Controller #7686.I would unplug and remove from 1 vehicle and installit in the other. Is there any think else I would need.

That should be everything you need if both your 2008 GMC Acadia and 2003 Chevy Silverado are equipped with tow packages. You would order part # 90185 and vehicle specific wiring adapter # 3026-P and that would include everything for your Acadia. Then you would order part # 3015P and # 7686 to have a connection wire and bracket for your Silverado.
Please note, you will need to go through the set up process and adjust the power and boost settings when you switch vehicles as the two vehicles have different braking abilities.
I have included links to directions for installing this controller on brakes equipped with a factory 7-way. The instructions show the location for the brake controller port underneath the dash. If you do not have these ports, then you do not have the factory 7-ways. If this is the case, please write back and I will get you the correct part numbers and walk you through the wiring process to add a 7-way.
