Could Swagman XC2 Bike Rack be Used With Bike that Weighs Between 34 and 36 lbs
Question:
Am wanting this rack as I’m 62, looks simple and not too heavy. I have a specialized low entry 29 inch wheels. I weighed it and keep getting between 34 and 36 pounds. There is 10 inches from ground to bottom of frame, wheel base is 44 inches. I don’t think an adapter tube will work bc it’s angled from handle bars to seat bar. I’m right at or just a tad over weight, will this work ? Also I like this price on this one. If not, any recommendations. Drive Ford Expedition xl 2009 Sorry, having trouble sending photos

You might try a more consistent scale as a 2 lb fluctuation is pretty big. Most likely you are seeing 36 lbs as an exaggerated figure like if the bike was pushed on it slightly though so I would assume you'd be under the weight capacity of the XC2 part # S64650.
This also works with your 44 inch wheelbase and angled frame top tube.
