Recommended Bike Rack for Two 65 Lb Fat Tire E-Bikes

I recently purchased two Fat tire E bikes that weigh 75 pounds each, 65# ea with battery removed and center to center wheel distance of 45 inches. Looking for a bike rack, receiver hitch style, that would allow me to safely transport long distances on an Audi Q5

The best bike rack option we have for fat tire e-bikes is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack part # TH903202. This rack has a 65 lb capacity so you will need to remove the battery/batteries but this will be the case for most racks. It can then be used with fat tires when you obtain the Fat Bike Straps part # TH985101, you'll need two sets. The EasyFold has a ramp for easy loading the bikes and wheels for better maneuverability while off the vehicle. It also folds for storage and has locks for security.

Please note, platform style racks are required for such heavy bikes so hanging style racks are not allowed. There will be no issues with this rack on most vehicles with a 2" hitch such as an Audi Q5.
