Troubleshooting No Output Power From A Progressive Dynamics AC/DC Panel # PD4135K

Question:

I completed the install of the PD-4135 and connected my new LiFePo4 battery. I put the converter switch in the ON position for lithium. I turned on all circuits after connecting to shore power. Everything worked as it should with one exception. The battery wasnt being charged. The battery gradually lost power down to 12.2v. I disconnected the battery and tested the cable ends with my multimeter. There was no charge. Shouldnt I have a charge at the cable ends?

There are five possible causes for your Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 35 Amp # PD4135K:

1. Proper AC power not connected:
Ensure the connections to the power supply is secure.
Check the AC distribution panel for proper operation.

2. Reverse battery fuses are blown:
Check for reverse battery connection.
Replace fuses with same type and rating.

3. Short circuit:
Trace circuits for possible fault.

4. Unit has shutdown due to overheating:
Check air flow.
Allow unit to cool.

5. Unit has shutdown due to over voltage (Converter will shut down if the input voltage exceeds 132 VAC):
Check input voltage.
Correct input voltage.

If you've checked all of these things and still are not receiving power to your battery then please reply back and we can troubleshoot further.
