Can a non sliding 5th wheel hitch be used in pucks of 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed?

The short answer would be 'maybe'....
Unless your 5th wheel has a rotating pin box like the Reese Sidewinder or Revolution or the Lippert Turning Point, or the front of the 5th wheel has been specifically designed with dished in or concave front corners so that they won't strike the rear of the cab during turns, you'll need to use a sliding version of the B&W Companion.
The # BWRVK3710 stationary version wouldn't provide enough clearance between the cab and 5th wheel which would likely result in the cab and front of the 5th wheel being damaged in turns.
You'll want to use the sliding Companion version instead, part # BWRVK3775.
If you do have a rotating pin box, you'll need the B&W specific wedge, part # SWW-06.
