Expert Reply:

If you already have a 4-way installed on your 2022 Honda Odyssey like the Tekonsha T-One # 118781, all the need is the Universal Installation Kit for Brake Controller # ETBC7. This harness comes with 25' long, 10-gauge duplex wire that is wrapped in an abrasion-resistant cover to give you the ability to install the controller.

For the brake controller itself, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 or the Curt Echo # C51180. Both of these controllers are proportional controllers which means that the controller activates the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. The Voyager is more of a traditional-style controller than requires mounting into the dashboard of your vehicle near the steering wheel. If you decide to go with the Voyager, you also need the controller plug-in harness # 20127. On the other hand, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device without any additional plug required.

If you need a hitch receiver as to complete the towing setup, I recommend the etrailer Hitch - 2" # e98855. Not only is the hitch made in the U.S.A., but it also only measures 3 inches from the center pinhole of the shank to the outside face of the rear bumper. This measurement is important if you want to have more compatibility with hitch-mounted accessories. For a great locking hitch pin for theft-deterrence, I recommend the etrailer Hitch Lock # e98882.
