What Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System do You Recommend for My 2015 Subaru Legacy?

Question:

I was looking at the eurobar setup DS126B. Since I will be using it rarely just to carry skis I think that's totally fine. Any thoughts?

I have a great roof rack solution for you. Judging by your previous searches, it looks like you are looking for a two-crossbar system for your 2015 Subaru Legacy. Unfortunately, I confirmed with Rhino-Rack that the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbar RRRS143 does not fit your vehicle. Even if it did fit, this is only a single crossbar.

With that being said, we do have a great similar system that uses the Vortex crossbars with the same flush design. That is the Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbars # RR37XR. This system comes with locks and does not require any additional parts/hardware to mount on your naked roof. With the ROC25, you receive a maximum weight capacity of 165 pounds. As with all roof rack systems, I recommend that you confirm with your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure that your roof can handle the amount of weight you wish to transport.

If you are looking for an economical setup that will get the job done, then the Eurobar (square) version of the ROC25 is a great dependable system (although it doesn't have the sleekness of the # RRRS143). For the Eurobar option, you need the following parts: - ROC25 Crossbars - 49" Long DS126B - Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof # DK416 This roof rack system will provide you with 165 pounds of maximum weight capacity (the same as the # RRRS143). As with all roof racks, it is important to consider the weight capacity of your vehicle's roof. However, if you are only looking to transport skis, you are fine on cargo weight. For a great ski carrier that works with the setup, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards # RR574 or the larger Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking - 6 Pairs of Skis or 4 Boards # RR576. These carriers will clamp onto the eurobars and include locks for theft deterrence. Also, as an added bonus, they both come with a 5-year warranty.
