Troubleshooting My 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4 After Tuner Stolen And Transmission Replaced

I NEED TO FIGUER THIS OUT ASAP I HAVE A REBUILT 4L60 E TRANNY FOR A 2001 CHEVY TAHOE 4X4 5.3 NOW I ASKED THIS GUY IF THIS WOULD EFFECT MY TRANSMISION, BY HAVEING A SUPER CHIPS TUNER TUNED UP TO MY TRUCK HE SAID NO PROBLEM WELL AFTER 3 TRANSMISIONS LATER MY TRUCK STILL DOESNT SHIFT RIGHT TAKES FOREVER TO SHIFT I HAVE ALL GEARS BUT THE MAIN GEAR IS FIRST GOING INTO 2ND THEN IT DRAGS ON TO SHIFT .WOULD REPLACEI9NG A TRANSMISION STILL TUNED TO MY OLD TRANNY SHIFT POINTS THU THE SUPERCHIPS TUNER . NOT BEING ABLE TO GO BACK TO OEM HAVE ANYTHIG TO DO WITH THIS?

Yes, since you were using the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner - GM - Gas/Diesel, part # SU2845, you needed to reset your tuner to factory settings before you replaced the transmission on your 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4. When you replaced your transmission, the tune it was installed under is based upon whatever tune you were using for your previous transmission. But this tune is not based on the new transmission being integrated into your Chevrolet Tahoe's factory OEM settings. This is why your new transmission is having shifting problems. Unfortunately, without the tuner, you cannot get your tuner reset to get it back to your vehicle's OEM settings. You will have to take it to the dealer and have your vehicle's computer reset to factory settings.
