How To Use a Blue Ox Tow Bar on 2021 GMC Canyon
Question:
I am looking for a flat towing base plate to fit my new 2021 gmc canyon 4x4 crew cab short bed at4. I have a BX7445 Blue Ox tow bar on my 2004 Winny Itaska Meridian 36g coach. I plan to use my air force one set up off of my 2006 Saturn Vue on my Canyon. I will need the diode wiring kit for the lights as well. Thanks in advance for your help!

The correct Blue Ox Base Plate Kit for a 2021 GMC Canyon is part # BLU93FR, it fits all sub-models and options. This will then be compatible with any motorhome mounted tow bars like the Blue Ox Aventa.
If you're reusing the Air Force One Supplemental Braking System then you also need the Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99209.
For a wiring harness, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267. Don't forget the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect part # RM-766 (No Diesel Engines).
