Jet Ski Towing Set up for a 2021 Ford Edge
Question:
I have a 2021 Ford Edge and I am wanting to tow my jet ski with it. I need a hitch and a wiring harness. I don't want a hitch that hangs down too much.

I would be happy to help you set up your 2021 Ford Edge to tow your jet ski. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13234. The hitch receiver will sit about a 1/2 inch higher from the ground compared to the similar Draw-Tite item # 75214 that is also available for your vehicle. I have attached a picture and a installation video so you can see what the final product looks like after installation.
For your wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118805. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-flat vehicle connector to control your jet ski trailer's lights.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball, and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
