Thanks for that info, and we can definitely get your 2018 Ford Edge Titanium with the 3.5L V6 set up with a complete flat towing package. I'll go ahead and list out what you'll need first, and then explain why for you.
- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-524444-5
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522
- Safety Chains: Roadmaster 64" Safety Cables # RM-646
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Hybrid Cord Wiring Kit # RM-152-1676-7
- Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR
So that is everything that is required to flat tow your '18 Edge Titanium, with the Roadmaster base plates being the right fit for your Edge since it has the 3.5L engine and without adaptive cruise control. Not only do they fit, but since they have removable arms they will allow your Edge to keep more of its factory look when towing. The Falcon tow bar has long, 53-1/2" arms which are great because long arms like that allow the best maneuverability, and it also has easy-to-use latches and guides in the arms for the safety cables so they stay off the ground.
Moving onto the wiring, I like the Roadmaster diode kit because it is designed to prevent electrical feedback so it is going to do the best job of keeping your Edge's electrical system safe. The battery disconnect is needed because it will allow you to simply push a button to disconnect your battery, which is much safer than manually disconnecting it. Finally, the the Stay-IN-Play DUO is by far the best option because it gives your Edge braking power proportional to that of your motorhome (when it is being flat towed). This results in much smoother braking for a more comfortable and easier-to-control ride when flat towing.
I also recommend the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 to keep rocks and other debris from hitting your Edge while you are flat towing it. In regards to a high-low adapter such as # RM-048-4, I've added a link to a help article which shows you how to measure to determine if you need an adapter, as well as a link to our selection of adapters should you need one. Finally, as for the installation, if you look at the product pages, right below where a video is you can see a link that says "Locate installers near me" which will take you to a selection in your area.
