How do I Transport a Honda Grom, a Scooter, and 2 Bikes on My Class C Motorhome?
Question:
Okay so we’re going to skip transporting the Grom since it looks like it wouldn’t do well safety wise on cross country trips. Our decision is going to be a carrier that will hold two bikes; Bike 1) E bike by Trek and 2) a woman’s Trek Hybrid. So which bike carrier do you recommend that will be for a Class C 2019 Minnie Winnie 22R Motorhome?

As far as mounting your Honda Grom and your scooter to your 2019 Winnebago 22R motorhome, we unfortunately do not have a traditional bike rack that will work for the weight of those bikes. However, the best route is to use the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long # UF48-979033. The Ultra-Fab is RV-approved and will fit motorcycles/scooters up to 500 pounds. In addition, the carrier comes with an included ramp that can be positioned on either end to make for easy loading and unloading. In addition to the ramp, I recommend the Erickson Motorcycle/ATV Straps # EM05729. We do not currently carry an accessory that will allow you to carry your scooter and your Grom at the same time on the rear of your motorhome (or at the same time as your electric bikes).
For your women's Trek Hybrid bike and your Trek men's e-bike, you will be able to transport those on your rear hitch together (without the scooter and the Grom). To do this, I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches # HLY64FR. The RV Rider comes with an impressive 80-pounds per-bike weight capacity and is also RV approved to withstand the additional torque/force exerted when mounted to your Winnebago. Another great benefit of the RV Rider is that you will not need to purchase a bike frame adapter bar like # 64005. This is because the clamps on the RV Rider adjust independently to fit virtually any bike-frame style.
In order to use any options mentioned in this answer, you need a 2-inch hitch receiver on your motorhome. If you need a hitch, I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. The adjustable hitch is a universal fit that has adjustable brackets that fits motorhome frames that are 22-72 inches wide. It also comes with 350-pound tongue weight capacity. In order to confirm whether your motorhome can accommodate the weight you wish to transport, I recommend confirming with your owner's manual.
Also, if you are considering a way to carry an additional accessory, you will be able to install the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 on the front of your motorhome. This will provide you with another attachment point on your vehicle.
