Does the screw that fastens this into the end of the rack come with the part or is that separate? If separate, what part is the screw?

For the Replacement End Cap for Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 852-3214001 on a Thule Xsporter # TH500XTB-THXK3, you will need to purchase the screw separately. I confirmed with Thule that the screw you need is the Replacement M6-1x14mm Socket Head Cap Screw for Thule Ladder Racks # THHD-27059.
