Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2016 Porsche Macan S
Question:
do you make a trailer hitch for a 2016 macan S ?

Expert Reply:
For a trailer hitch that fits your 2016 Porsche Macan S, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75940. The reason I recommend this hitch over the Curt # C13136, which also fits, is the cross tube. The Curt has a visible cross tube so you will see it hanging down underneath your Porsche. The Draw-Tite has a concealed cross tube, so the only thing visible will be the receiver tube. This helps maintain a cleaner factory look and improves overall clearance.
If you plan on doing some towing, you will also need a wiring harness. I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This wiring harness uses zero-contact interface sensors which identify the current flowing through each wire by simply clamping onto them. This lets you avoid any cutting or splicing..
If you need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
