Best Easy to Install Brake Controller Recommended for 2022 Jeep Gladiator w/ Factory 7-Way Connector
Question:
I'd like a recommendation for the best, not difficult to install brake controller option for my 2022 Jeep Gladiator. I have the factory 7-pin trailer connector, so I think there's a plug under the dash somewhere.

Because your Gladiator has the factory tow package, just about any controller will be pretty simple to install.
The Curt # C51170 Echo Wireless Brake Controller you'd looked at would be the easiest to install by far. The install would be plug an play, and once you pair the unit to your smart phone, you'd be good to go.
My knock against the Echo is that it can't be secured into the trailer connector so if you leave it unattended, you'll need to disconnect it and secure it someplace safe or it'll get stolen. The Echo is a really great choice for folks that don't want a traditional brake controller installed under their dash, but I have an option that would work great for you, would be pretty well hidden and wouldn't be too difficult to install.
I'd go with the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty, part # RED24FR. You'll also need the # 3073-P wiring harness along with the # 331-TPH-017 adapter. The Tow Pro Liberty is a remote controller. The main unit would mount under the dash, out of sight and the trailer braking would be adjusted with the control knob that would mount within easy reach of the driver. An unused switch knockout is the perfect mounting spot, but if one isn't available a mounting bezel like # 331-TPSI-002 would work great.
I've linked to some installation and demonstration videos that you might find helpful.
