Will Handle of B and W Companion for Ford Hitch Fit with 6-1/2 inches from Puck to Toolbox
Question:
I have a custom tool box for my 2018 Ford 250 which has the factory puck system installed. There is only 6.5 inches between the toolbox and the first puck hole. Im wanting to purchase the BW but Im concern that I wont have enough room to open the jaws. The handle moves a good distance forward and might hit my toolbox before disengaging the jaws.

I checked with B and W and they said that if you had the head of the Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 in the offset forward position the release handle would work and not interfere with your tool box that is 6-1/2 inches from the forward most puck hole.
