Will the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch for Flatbeds Work With Recessed Openings

I have a CM flat bed that has a recessed ball welded to it. I would like to swap it out for a turn over ball. Will this work on a recessed flatbed

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks part # BWGNRK1500 is completely custom in regards to fit and installation so this will be up to the installer to determine. There isn't anything about this that would make it incompatible with a recessed opening nor would I assume there is anything special about the one you have now making it more compatible with recessed applications.
Please note, it's unlikely you'd be able to use the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3050 with a recessed opening unless the opening was large enough to fit the base which is 18" x 18".
