Does Key Fob Still Work to Open Rear Hatch on 2019 Toyota RAV4 With Curt Hitch Installed
Question:
Losing hands free hatch opening for 2019 Toyota Rav4. Does this mean that even using a button or key fob will no longer work?

You will still absolutely be able to use a button or key fob to open the rear hatch of your 2019 Toyota RAV4 after you've installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416.
The only thing that might be lost is the ability to use the Hands-Free Liftgate, which is the liftgate opening as you kick your foot under the rear bumper; however, we've found that you generally just have to kick your foot to either side of the receiver opening and it will still work.
Also, I did want to mention that if you are going to be doing some towing with the Curt # C13416 and your RAV4, if you need a trailer wiring harness to power your trailer's lights, the correct fit for your vehicle is the Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56434.
