What Fenders do You Recommend for My 16 Inch Wheels?

Question:

Hi what fender size do you recommend on my utility trailer with ST235/80R16 tires? 36inch fenders seem to drown the tire but 32inch fenders dont seem to leave much room for clearance. Thanks

For your ST235/80-16 tires like the Karrier Radial Tires # AM10248, I recommend the Single Axle Trailer Fender for Enclosed Trailers - Steel - 15" to 16" Wheels # HP46VR (for single axles) or the Tandem Axle Teardrop Trailer Fenders for Enclosed Trailers - 15" to 16" Wheels # HP64VR (for tandem axles). Both of these fenders are designed for 16 inch wheels. We do not carry single fenders that are less than 36 inches long or tandem-axle fenders that are less than 68 inches long that are confirmed to fit a 16-inch tire.

As far as the fitment, it is all right if the fenders are a bit on the larger side because you will ultimately get more clearance (which, in the end, is the safer bet).
